Tim Waggoner

Tim Waggoner is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering and RFID technology, currently serving as the RFID Technical Manager at MCC Label since April 2023. Waggoner previously held the position of Senior Sales Engineer at Phillips Connect, where responsibilities included collaborating with various departments to support product initiatives. Earlier roles include Sr. IoT Engineer at Barcoding Inc., where Waggoner provided presales support and product demonstrations, and RFID Engineer at DeRoyal, focusing on RFID solutions in healthcare settings. As President and Cofounder of Open Wave RFID, Waggoner led the development of RFID/RTLS products and services. Additional experience includes an Electrical Engineer role at Nabco Electric and a background as an Automation Specialist at RODEN Electrical Supply. Tim Waggoner holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has furthered education at the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
