Rodney Mallari has a diverse work experience. Rodney began their career in 2004 as an EMT and Ocean Lifeguard for the City of Long Beach. In 2006, they worked as a Cognitive Psychology Researcher and Physical Therapist Aide for the University of Southern California. In 2011, they joined Multibrain as a Technology Account Manager, then moved on to become a Frontend Developer, Product Manager, Head of Operations, and eventually the Chief Operating Officer. In 2018, they founded Updog Films, an FAA Licensed Aerial Film Production, Post Production, and Digital Media company. In 2020, they joined the University of California, Riverside as an Advisory Board Member for the Design Thinking Executive Program.
Rodney Mallari has a background in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Kinesiology/Biomechanics from the University of Southern California. Rodney has also obtained certifications from Meta (Meta Community Management, Certified Company in October 2022), the Federal Aviation Administration (Unmanned Aircraft Systems Pilot in October 2017), the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (BLS Provider in May 2021), and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (Emergency Medical Technician in March 2009).
