Vegar Alterås is the current Seksjonsleder Samferdsel og Infrastruktur for Helgeland & Salten. They previously worked as an Ingeniør at Multiconsult from 2005 to 2021 and held positions at Aker Kvaerner and Forsvarsbygg in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Vegar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Teknisk planlegging from Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag (HiST) between 2002 and 2005.
