So… why this group?

After 20+ years in the multifamily industry, I’ve had some incredible mentors who helped me navigate the highs, lows, and all the in-betweens. Their advice stuck  and so did the idea that mentorship should be more than just a checkbox. I wanted to create a space where mentorship actually means something. Not another stuffy networking group.

Truth is, I sat on this idea for years. Imposter syndrome kicked in. I kept asking myself, 

“Who am I to build a mentorship group?” 

Eventually, I realized the real question was: “Why not me?”

The industry was missing something real. Something warm. Something welcoming. Something "un-corporate."

This group isn’t about titles, egos, or keeping up appearances. It’s about authenticity, connection, and conversations that matter. No gatekeeping. No cliques. Just good people lifting each other up.
