Amaha Desta

Amaha Desta is an experienced interpreter and freelance translator with expertise in Tigrinya and Amharic languages. Currently, Amaha holds multiple positions, including Interpreter at thebigword since February 2023, Medical and Legal Interpreter at MultiLingual Technologies Inc. since October 2022, and OPI/VRI Interpreter at Cypher Language Services and Lexikeet Language Services. Additionally, Amaha has a role at 911 Interpreters as a Medical and Legal Interpreter and has been a Freelance Translator with Mars Translation Services since January 2022. Previous experience includes roles at GLOBO and Languages Africa. Amaha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Power and Control Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University, graduating in December 2020.
