Francesco Setacci

Francesco Setacci is an accomplished medical professional specializing in vascular surgery with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery at both Università degli studi di Enna "Kore" and the Vascular Surgery and Transplant Unit since June and October 2023 respectively, Francesco has held multiple key positions at Gruppo MultiMedica, including Head of Vascular Research and Head of the Vascular Surgery Unit since November 2017. Previous roles include heading the Vascular Surgery Unit at Casa di cura Giovanni XIII, and serving as Head of Endovascular Surgery at Casa di Cura Giovanni XXIII. An educator as well, Francesco was affiliated with Sapienza Università di Roma, UniversitätsSpital Zürich, and Università di Siena, contributing to clinical research and training in endovascular and open surgical techniques.
