The great building, where today Cineland stands, was built during the land reclamation at the behest of Mussolini, between 1927 and 1929. 
It was to form the original nucleus of a large industrial area served by the Rome-Ostia railway. 
Initially used in the production of agricultural machinery, it was then used as a foundry, to return to produce machinery and adjust the wagons of the Rome-Ostia from the immediate post-war period until the 1970s.
Today, in the transformation into a multiplex, all the facades of the original building have been maintained, subjected to restoration with methods of light impact.
The iron structures that constituted the first formal matrix, no longer in line with current regulations, were instead fully reproduced, as well as the plasters, pickled and redone. Pilasters and capitals were taken back. 
Due to financial difficulties, the factory closed in 1973 and was sold to the current owners who, starting from an initial project dated December 1987, reconverted the facility into the new multiplex cinema inaugurated on September 1999.
The structure is spread over an area of 12,000 m² and consists of 14 rooms for a total of 2860 seats, fully digitized, air-conditioned and equipped with the most modern and advanced technologies (Dolby System 3D), which give the viewer an incredible full immersion audio / video, all surrounded by 80,000 m² of greenery with a parking space for 2,200 cars.
