Alex Bester

Alex Bester is an experienced design and project management professional with a strong background in engineering and construction. Currently serving as a Design Manager at Multiplex since August 2016, Alex previously held the position of Senior Project Engineer at both Multiplex and Grocon. Alex's career began with roles at Abigroup Contractors Pty Limited and Laing O'Rourke as a Project Engineer, following an earlier tenure as a Platoon Commander in the South African National Defence Force. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Construction Management from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed between 1999 and 2002.
