Michael Richards

Michael Richards is an experienced professional in digital construction and civil engineering, currently serving as Head of Digital Construction at Multiplex since January 2018 and also as a Guest Lecturer at UCL in the Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering department. Prior roles include Strategy and Improvement Manager for Surface Transport at Transport for London and involvement as a member of the ICE BIM Action Group, contributing to the coordination and promotion of industry knowledge. Michael Richards has held various positions at Balfour Beatty, including BIM Manager on the HS2 project and has extensive experience in significant civil engineering projects such as Crossrail and the redevelopment of Blackfriars Station. Michael Richards holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the City of Westminster and an NVQ in Site Technical Support.
