Thomas Downie

Thomas Downie is an experienced project manager with a strong background in data centre management and construction. Currently serving as a Project Manager for Multiplex since February 2023, Thomas has previously held positions such as Contracts Manager and Project Manager at Mercury, where responsibilities included overseeing the operational and financial performance of data centre management contracts and leading the MEP design and construction of a new 80MW data centre in Paris. Thomas also managed a portfolio of international projects at Minetek and led major capital projects at Saunders International Limited, demonstrating expertise across various sectors, including energy, resources, and water. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, a Master of Project Management from the University of South Australia, and a Certificate IV in Health and Safety from CBD College.
