Josh Jacobsen

Josh Jacobsen is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Multitudes since March 2024, with prior roles at Cogo and Vital. With a background as a Software Developer at My Food Bag and Xero, Josh has expertise in full-stack development, application testing, and AWS infrastructure maintenance. Before transitioning to software engineering, Josh co-founded Desert Road Project Management, providing security consulting services, and held various security roles with UNRWA, managing risk education projects and stakeholder relationships. Josh began a career in the New Zealand Defence Force, first as a Dive Instructor and then as a Team Leader, focusing on soldier management and operational effectiveness. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Defence Studies from Massey University and language certificates in Arabic.
