David Makepeace

David Makepeace is currently the Compliance Operations Team Manager at Multiverse, where they lead a team ensuring the integrity of apprentice data and adherence to regulatory guidelines. They earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Surrey in 2018 and previously co-founded Lab Rats, a social enterprise focused on engaging primary school students in science. Before Multiverse, David held various roles, including Operations Associate at Research Grid, where they supported strategic operations, and positions within Thames Water, developing project management and continuous improvement skills. David also has experience in medical sales and market research, having worked with the British Pharmacological Society.
