Heather Lyons

Heather Lyons currently serves as the Senior Policy Advisor on Housing and Homelessness for Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Heather held the role of Director at CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions, from May 2008 to April 2024, overseeing a region that includes the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, and Northern California. Heather's experience also includes serving as Homeless Program Manager for the City of Portland (2000-2008), Community Organizer for Central City Concern (1998-2000), and Caseworker to Management Analyst for the City of San Antonio, Department of Community Initiatives (1993-1998). Heather began a career with the City of San Antonio as a VISTA Volunteer (1992-1993). Educational achievements include a B.A. in English from the University of Mary Washington (1988-1992) and a brief study at Colegio Mayor Universitario San Juan Evangelista in 1991.
