Jon Himes is an experienced attorney currently serving as the Assistant County Attorney for Multnomah County since June 2025. Prior to this role, Jon worked as an Associate Attorney at Farleigh Wada Witt from September 2019 to May 2025, and held positions as a Judicial Intern with the U.S. District Courts and a Legal Intern at Indiana University's Office of the Vice President & General Counsel. Jon also gained experience as a Summer Associate and Extern to the Honorable Martha L. Walters at the Oregon Supreme Court. Earlier in the career, Jon served as an Athletic Director and Teacher at Indianapolis Metropolitan High School and as a Teacher with Teach For America. Jon Himes earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Butler University, and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Marian University Indianapolis.
