Sim Ogle

Sim Ogle serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Multnomah County since August 2022, leading a team of 189 IT professionals and 29 contractors. Ogle has been instrumental in developing the County’s 3-year digital strategy, managing an annual budget exceeding $90 million, and aligning technology policies with organizational priorities. Experience includes significant roles at the Port of Portland, where Ogle led various IT operations and initiatives, as well as previous positions as Director of Information Technology in Crook County, a science and technology consultant, and a staff research associate at the University of Southern California. Ogle holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science from the University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Science and Underwater Studies from the University of Plymouth.
