Alex Yang

Alex Yang is currently a 2nd Vice President in Structured Reinsurance at Munich Re, where they lead internal transformation initiatives and produce market research materials. With a robust background in reinsurance, Alex has previously held roles in actuarial consulting, inforce management, and capital markets. Their expertise includes project management, Principle-Based Reserving, and actuarial modeling. Alex is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), and is pursuing a Bachelor of Math in Actuarial Science and Risk Management at the University of Waterloo.
