Catherine Smith

Catherine Smith has held various senior leadership positions in the insurance industry, including Chief Underwriting Officer and Chief Risk and Underwriting Officer at Munich Re, and Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at American Modern Insurance Group. With experience as Head of Product and Underwriting and VP of Products at the same company, Catherine also served as AVP of Commercial Market Strategy and AVP of Property Product at Grange Insurance. In addition to roles in insurance, Catherine has contributed to CASA of Franklin County as Board President and Director. Catherine holds a Master of Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and furthered education at The American College of Financial Services.
