Ellen Yang

Ellen Yang has extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors, currently working as an Originator at Munich Re since November 2023. Prior roles include serving as Head of Insurance Coverage APAC at DWS Group, and as Head of Structuring China at Deutsche Bank, where Ellen provided asset solutions for institutional investors. Previous tenure at KPMG involved directing asset liability management projects for insurers and leading industry standards initiatives. Ellen is also a former Council Member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and held a managerial position at PwC, focusing on C-GAAP and statutory reviews. Ellen’s career began at Standard Life Aberdeen, progressing from a graduate trainee to roles in product development and valuation.
