Lee Sarkin

Lee Sarkin serves as the Chief Analytics Officer for Munich Re, overseeing AI and advanced analytics across the APAC, Middle East, and Africa regions in the Life & Health sector since November 2008. Lee has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, focusing on data analytics, predictive modelling, and research and development, with an emphasis on creating value through innovative analytical technologies. Lee has played a pivotal role in enhancing Munich Re's global data analytics network and has represented the company at various industry conferences. Additionally, Lee chairs the Demography and Epidemiology Committee of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and has consulted on HIV and AIDS-related actuarial issues. Academic credentials include ongoing PhD studies in advanced analytics applications in insurance and a Master's degree focused on the insurability of lives living with chronic diseases.
