Markus E.

Markus E. is the Head of Global CSIRT, CTI, and Threat Hunting at Munich Re, a position held since 2025. Previously, Markus served in various roles at ITERGO from 2014 to 2019, including Executive Assistant to the Management Board and Global Head of Cyber Security Incident Response. Markus also held the position of Project Management Office Manager at ITERGO in 2014 and provided consulting services at Wohnungs-Genossenschaft Köln 1896 EG from 2013 to 2015. Markus completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science at TH Köln between 2010 and 2016, and also gained early experience through an internship in the IT Department at Lake Michigan College in 2008.
