Michael Ege has extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Trading, Modeling and Technology at Munich Re (Group) since October 2003, leading a team of approximately 50 experts in managing financial guarantees within life and pension insurance products. Ege also holds the role of Risk Management Function Holder for a protected cell company with a primary life insurance license and previously served as the Deputy Head of Asset Liability Management, where key contributions included the promotion of the Group's ALM risk appetite and the development of an internal market risk model. Prior to joining Munich Re, experience includes roles as a Management Consultant at Nagler & Company and as a Risk Manager at HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit Bank AG. Ege holds a diploma in Mathematics and Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
