Ralph Schuster is the Head of Section Group Actuarial Function at Munich Re since April 2022 and has extensive experience in actuarial science and education. Currently a lecturer at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen, Ralph also holds a seminar chair and serves as a speaker at the Deutsche Aktuarvereinigung e.V. focusing on the Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary qualification. Additionally, Ralph teaches actuarial mathematics at PPO GmbH and previously lectured at Hochschule München. Prior roles at Munich Re included various positions in group risk management and underwriting from 2004 to 2022. Ralph's academic background includes a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from The University of Freiburg, an Actuary (DAV) designation, and a Master's degree in Mathematics and Physics.
