Simone Wallbaum

Simone Wallbaum, CFE, currently serves as the Director of Compliance in Group Compliance & Legal at Munich Re (Group) since March 2015, previously holding the position of Senior Auditor focused on internal investigations. Prior to this, Simone worked at Fujitsu Technology Solutions from March 2012 to February 2015 as Senior Manager for CEMEA&I Regional Compliance and Senior Manager for Investigations in Corporate Compliance, specializing in investigations, anti-fraud, anti-corruption, and vendor management. Experience also includes a managerial role at Ernst & Young GmbH in Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services from March 2011 to February 2012, and similar management roles at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP and Deloitte & Touche GmbH, concentrating on FCPA consulting, litigation, dispute consulting, and forensic accounting. Simone obtained a JD from Kiel University, Germany, from 1995 to 2000.
