Timon Halbach

Timon Halbach is an experienced underwriter currently employed at Munich Re since October 2020, specializing in liability for North America and new risk solutions, with a focus on non-traditional risks for Life Science companies and blockchain-related risks. Timon has also served as a mentor at the Lloyd's Lab and has a background as an International Graduate Trainee at Munich Re. Prior experience includes working as a financial services consulting student at PwC Deutschland and as an insurance clerk at Barmenia Versicherungen, where support was provided across various departments of the insurance value chain. Timon holds an Executive Master of Insurance from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, a Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Limerick, and has completed studies in International Business and Chinese language in Beijing, along with a Bachelor's degree in Insurance and Actuarial Science from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and a talent program in Decentralized Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
