Jonathan Nutzmann

Jonathan Nutzmann has over twelve years of work experience in the engineering field. In 2021, they began working as the Avionics Hardware Technical Lead at Muon Space. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Loon as a Staff Engineering Manager, responsible for the leadership of the Avionics hardware and firmware engineering team. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Google as a Staff Hardware Engineering Manager, Senior Hardware Engineer, and Hardware Engineer III. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Graco as an Electrical Project Engineer III, leading the prototyping, requirements, development, testing, and implementation of hardware and software for a new ZigBee-based remote monitoring solution. In 2010, they worked at the University of Minnesota as an Undergraduate Researcher, working on a joint research team between the Computer Engineering and Geology departments. In 2009, they worked at Thomson Reuters as an Application Technology Intern, developing a middle-tier level search API. In 2008, they worked at Thomson Reuters as an Intern, creating a configuration management database and Google-like search graphical user interface.

Jonathan Nutzmann earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2012, having started their studies in 2008.
