Abby Wilson

Abby Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Abby is currently the Owner and Director of Steam Creative, a position they have held since January 2021. Abby is also a Mediator at Just Mediation Pittsburgh since January 2023. Abby has previously worked as an Instructor at Mural, focusing on professional networking, and as a Senior Faculty + Coach at LUMA Institute. In addition, Abby has experience in public policy and community relations, having served as the Deputy Director at the Allegheny County Health Department. Abby has also held positions at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and Great Lakes Urban Exchange. Abby's earlier roles include Program Director at LUMA Institute, Co-Founder at Great Lakes Urban Exchange, and Project Manager at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Program for Deliberative Democracy.

Abby Wilson has a diverse education history. Abby obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from Columbia University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, in 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. In 2009 to 2010, Abby attended Utrecht University, where they earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Public International Law.

Currently, Abby is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2022. Before their university studies, Abby obtained their high school diploma from The Ellis School.

Additionally, Abby has acquired various additional certifications from the CITI Program. These certifications include the Biomedical Course, Bloodborne Pathogens for Lab Workers, COI Non-PHS Regulated Course, GCP - Social and Behavioral Research Best Practices for Clinical Research, Responsible Conduct of Research, and the Social-Behavioral-Educational Course. All of these certifications were obtained in September 2022.
