Alysa Wood

Alysa Wood has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the software development industry. Alysa is currently working as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Mural since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at New Relic, Inc. for 5 years starting in 2017 as a Sr. Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for managing teams focused on identity and access management, API and service ecosystem, and customer usage. Alysa led cross-organization initiatives and drove enhancements in security and IAM.

Before joining New Relic, Inc., Alysa worked at WebMD Health Services as a Director in product management from 2016 to 2017. Alysa focused on internal tooling, core services, and end-user engagement projects. Alysa also mentored managers within the organization and successfully led multiple development teams.

Earlier in their career, Alysa worked as a Software Architect, Sr. Software Developer, and Software Developer at WebMD Health Services, where they gained expertise in incentive programs, telephonic health coaching, and client customization and integration.

Alysa started their career as a Software Developer at Tallan from 2000 to 2004 and took on a similar role at Tallan from 2000 to 2001. Alysa also worked briefly as a Software Quality Assurance Technician at Broderbund Software and as a Processing Assistant at Boston Financial Data Services. Before that, they worked as a Graphic Artist at Broderbund Software.

Alysa Wood obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from Vassar College, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
