Faisal Iqbal

Faisal Iqbal has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and teaching. Faisal is currently working as a Sr. Software Engineer at MURAL since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at RBC as a Software Developer from September 2017 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for full-stack application development and infrastructure setup. Faisal also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo in 2018, where they marked assignments and proctored exams. Before that, they worked as a Geek Squad agent at Best Buy, performing computer troubleshooting and hardware testing. Faisal's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Regina, where they planned seminars and assisted students and professors.

Faisal Iqbal's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Faisal then pursued a Master's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering at the University of Regina from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, Faisal obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco. More recently, they completed a Master of Computer Science degree at the University of Waterloo from 2018 to 2020, specializing in the field of Computer Science.
