Hernan Garchtrom (he/his/him)

Hernan Garchtrom has diverse work experience in software engineering, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at MURAL since August 2022. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at MURAL from March 2022 to July 2022, and from July 2020 to February 2022. Prior to their time at MURAL, Hernan held the position of Software Engineer at POSSIBLE, where they served as Lead Developer from September 2019 to November 2019 and as a Senior Fullstack Developer from February 2019 to September 2019. Hernan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Softvision from April 2018 to February 2019.

Before joining Softvision, Hernan gained experience as a Software Engineer at R/GA from July 2015 to January 2018. Hernan initially started their career as a Software Engineer at Virtualmind - Software House in December 2013, where they worked on projects involving Ember.js, CanJS, Handlebars, and Sass development. Hernan continued their software engineering journey at Tecnosoftware from February 2013 to November 2013. Hernan's earliest work experience in the field was at W3 Comunicacion, where they held the position of Software Engineer from January 2010 to February 2013. This role involved web development using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and C# for backend development while working on site at TecPetrol.

Hernan Garchtrom completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at UADE from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Technical Degree in Information Technology from Escuela Tecnica ORT N° 2 between 2000 and 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Hernan obtained a Technical Certificate in Information Technology from ORT Argentina in December 2005. More recently, they completed courses such as "Dart and Flutter: The Complete Developer's Guide" from Udemy in July 2019 and "Server Side Rendering with React and Redux" from Udemy in September 2018.
