Jackson Chu

Lead Product Designer at MURAL

Jackson Chu has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Jackson currently holds the position of Lead Product Designer at MURAL since March 2021. Before joining MURAL, they were associated with Artefact from July 2013 to March 2021. At Artefact, they worked their way up from the role of Designer to Associate Design Director and eventually Design Director. In these roles, they led and managed multi-disciplinary teams, provided mentorship and coaching to designers, and supported the growth of the UX discipline within the organization. Prior to Artefact, Jackson worked as a Lead Designer at Travtar from May 2011 to May 2013 and as a Design Intern at Ness Computing from May 2012 to April 2013. At Ness Computing, they undertook responsibilities similar to full-time designers, including ideation, mock-ups, feature specing, and user research.

Jackson Chu attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design and Human Computer Interaction.
