Sam Candito

Sam Candito has extensive work experience as a software engineer. They started their career at CNE Media in 2016, initially as a software engineer intern and then as a junior software engineer. They were responsible for developing and maintaining web applications in a microservice architecture, focusing on multimedia delivery to millions of daily users. While at CNE Media, they made significant contributions, including overhauling the existing email sending system and designing a contact segmentation system to improve the targeting quality and deliverability of email marketing campaigns. They also developed and implemented a next-generation search service powered by Elasticsearch, enhancing the user search experience with improved result relevancy, faster response times, and real-time autocomplete suggestions.

In 2022, Sam moved to Mural and joined the Admin Experience team as a software engineer. Prior to this, they were a member of the Ecosystem Enablement subteam of the Internal Platform team.

Sam Candito studied at San Francisco State University from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
