Austin Maxwell

Austin Maxwell currently serves as the National Director for the Thought Leader Liaison Team within Amgen’s Gout Business Unit. With previous roles including Thought Leader Liaison at Horizon and Area Sales Director at Eversana, Austin has extensive experience in executing peer-to-peer strategies and building relationships with key influencers in the pharmaceutical industry. Austin is also a City Councilmember for the City of Murfreesboro, elected in September 2022. A veteran of the Army National Guard, with 28 years of service including various command positions, Austin holds an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University and a BBA from the University of Tennessee, along with advanced education from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and a marketing certificate from Cornell University.
