Caitlin May

Caitlin May has a diverse background in natural resource management and volunteer coordination, with significant experience across various organizations. As the Natural Resource Manager for the City of Murfreesboro, Caitlin supervises a team addressing natural resource needs and habitat restoration projects. Previous roles include Volunteer Coordinator at Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, where responsibilities included overseeing all volunteer needs and leading over 100 projects, and an internship with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, focused on digital communications. Caitlin also gained extensive experience at Ball State University through multiple positions, including a research technician and volunteer outreach intern. Educationally, Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from Ball State University and a Permaculture Design Certificate from Oregon State University.
