Ron Head

Ron Head has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Ron started their career in 1991 as the Director of Patient Financial Services at North Florida Regional Medical Center, where they managed various departments within the revenue cycle. In 1995, they joined Fair Isaac as an Executive Product Manager/Business Analyst, where they played a key role in developing and executing the strategic vision for a new healthcare business line.

Ron then moved on to McKesson Health IT as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) product. After that, they joined LifePoint Hospitals as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations, where they successfully improved the company's accounts receivable and bad debt performance for all 21 hospitals.

In 2001, Ron Head became the Vice President of Product Development and Marketing at AnswerPoint, a startup company providing analytics and decision system tools for revenue cycle management. Ron later joined HCA Physician Services Group as the Director of Ambulatory/Physician Services' Product and Customer Support, where they led a team in designing and deploying product requirements for various solutions.

In 2010, Ron Head joined Ascension Technologies as the Director of National Business Product Management, where they provided leadership for supporting enterprise-wide business applications used by 160,000 associates. Ron centralized the product management process, resulting in cost savings and improved customer satisfaction.

Most recently, Ron Head has been working at the City of Murfreesboro as the Assistant Director of IT, where they oversee IT operations. Additionally, they have had a long-standing career as an independent solution consultant, providing solutions and support to executives in the healthcare information technology sector.

Throughout their career, Ron Head has demonstrated a strong focus on mentoring, coaching, and building relationships. Ron has extensive knowledge and experience in IT services leadership, particularly within the healthcare industry.

Ron Head has a diverse education history. Ron earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Healthcare Management from Liberty University, which they attended from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they studied Business Administration and Finance at Troy University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from 1987 to 1990.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ron Head has also obtained certifications outside of their formal education. Ron received certification as a Foster Parent from the Tennessee Department of Children's Services in May 2016. Furthermore, they gained certification as a Real Estate Affiliate Broker from Keller Williams Realty, Inc. in July 2020.
