Aerial dance is a form of movement that uses an apparatus (like a fabric, hoop or trapeze) as a partner from which dancers can hang, ascend, pull, and experiment with gravity. We offer Aerial Fabric (hangs from the celing with two "tails"), Aerial Sling (hangs from the ceiling in a loop, like a hammock), and Aerial Hoop (a strong metal hoop hung vertically). Aerial Yoga also uses the fabric hung as a sling, but the practice is more individual, centered with breath, and lower to the earth.
