Simon Barrett

Simon Barrett is an accomplished emergency response professional with extensive experience in fire and safety management. Currently serving as an Emergency Response Technician for EnQuest since February 2016, Simon is responsible for responding to terminal emergencies, conducting training for emergency response personnel, and ensuring compliance with HS&E policies and COMAH regulations. Additionally, Simon has held pivotal roles at Murphy Oil as an Industrial Fire Team Leader and Safety Officer since 2004, overseeing emergency responses and leading fire squad members. Simon's career in firefighting began with Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service from 1996 to 2016, where responsibilities included responding to various emergency incidents, rescuing individuals, and promoting fire safety education. Simon's foundational military experience as an Infantry Soldier in the British Army further enhances the commitment and skills brought to emergency response roles.
