Tom Mireles has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies in the oil and gas industry. Tom started their career at BP in 1996 as a Reservoir Engineer, where they worked until 2003. In 2005, they joined Murphy E&P Company as the Senior Vice President of Western Hemisphere Operations, a position they have held up to the present. Additionally, in 2018, Tom became part of Murphy Oil Corporation, first serving as the Senior Vice President of Technical Services until 2022. Tom then transitioned to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a position they currently hold.
Tom Mireles earned an MBA degree from the London Business School from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an MS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1995 to 1996.
