Roy Hwang

Roy Hwang, Lead Software Engineer, comes to Murphy Research with a background in software engineering. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2016 summa cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Science. Roy is constantly adding new creative and technical skills to his repertoire, including music composition, web design, mobile app development, and video game development. He has a strong familiarity with several programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, Javascript, and PHP. He also boasts a proficiency with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL, and AWS. In his free time, he can usually be found working on his latest video game project using the Unity game engine or studying to improve his software engineering skills.
