Michaela Scherger

Michaela Scherger, CPA, currently serves as the Corporate Controller at Murphy's Pharmacies since August 2025, overseeing accounting and financial reporting for a network of 25 pharmacy locations across multiple provinces and leading a team responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial analysis. Prior experience includes positions as Controller and Assistant Controller at Mara Renewables Corporation from August 2021 to June 2025. Michaela started her career at PwC, progressing through various roles from Assurance Associate to Experienced Senior Associate over a four-year span. Additional experience encompasses managerial and customer service roles in the restaurant and hospitality sectors, alongside academic engagements as a marker and workshop instructor at the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University. Michaela holds a CPA designation from CPA Canada and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Saint Mary's University, achieving a GPA of 4.23/4.30.
