Once, in a reflection after a simulation, a Learner said: “This kind of situation happens a lot, and my staff never get to practice how to deal with it except in real life. They could really use this training.” In that moment I felt the impact of my work on improving workplaces around the globe. I always try to work toward creating an atmosphere in my sessions that is welcoming, powerful, and fun. It requires a level of vulnerability to create a human connection with someone you’ve just met - and you have to stay on your toes! One of my favorite virtual spaces to connect with other Mursion staff is our Anime Club channel on Slack. Anime is dope. It allows for such creative storytelling, absolutely beautiful art, the most epic fight scenes...It’s great that I have a space to talk about all of that with coworkers.
