Nirmala Prakash

Nirmala Prakash, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Director of Strategic Programs at Mursion, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in healthcare and workforce organizations since July 2020. Concurrently, Prakash holds a position as a Clinical Affiliate Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University's College of Medicine. Previously, Prakash held roles including Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Assistant Professor of Integrated Medical Science at the same institution. Other notable experiences include serving as VP of Research and Strategic Initiatives at Workforce Central Florida, where contributions to STEM education and workforce development were made, as well as consulting for tech and STEM firms. Prakash earned a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Central Florida, emphasizing female talent and career development, along with a Master's in Health Sciences and a Bachelor's in Biology.
