Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Steve began their career as the Head of European Equities at SLC Asset Management in 1990, where they managed investments of over £500m and was responsible for formulating investment strategies. Steve held this role until 2000, during which they presented on fund performance and structure to both internal and external clients.

In 2000, Steve founded and directed their own property development and building services company, abode renovation. Steve applied their research skills to identify direct investment opportunities and successfully renovated and re-designed properties for resale. Steve also provided value-added building services to a wide range of customers, managing complex and time-sensitive projects within strict budgets.

After leaving abode renovation in 2011, Steve joined Zapnito as a Strategy Advisor in 2015. Steve provided strategic guidance to the company before their departure in July 2022. Following their role at Zapnito, Steve served as a Consultant at THE UNKNOWN UNKNOWNS LIMITED starting from 2014.

Most recently, in November 2022, Steve assumed the interim role of Chief Financial Officer at Musemio, where they are currently employed.

Steve Thompson attended The Howard Grammar School from 1978 to 1985. Following their time at The Howard Grammar School, they pursued higher education at the University of Warwick from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics. No further information about their education history is provided.
