Museo del Galeón is the Philippines’ first immersive maritime heritage museum and one of the largest in Southeast Asia.

Celebrating centuries of seafaring heritage, the museum traces the story of the Filipino and the sea — from ancient mariners and the Manila–Acapulco galleon trade to today’s global seafarers.

Spanning 9,000 square meters beneath a gleaming silver dome, Museo del Galeón features a full-scale 17th-century galleon and cutting-edge immersive galleries overlooking the same waters that once connected the Philippines to the world.

Opening at the Mall of Asia complex in 2026, Museo del Galeón will be a space for discoveries, revelations, and ideas sparked by our maritime heritage.
