Muser Collective is a Bay Area–based nonprofit dedicated to transforming everyday environments into places of inquiry, reflection, and connection. We design and build interactive exhibits, environmental observatories, and community-based learning experiences that make science tangible and transformative. 

Our model

Reach (Audience) – engaging broad and diverse audiences in accessible public spaces
Our work uniquely enhances placemaking while supporting educational initiatives that connect people with nature. By implementing our approach to bay trails, libraries, and parks, we create hands-on site interpretation and exploration, significantly enriching existing environmental education efforts.

Rigor (Process) – partnering with scientists, field researchers, and educators to ground experiences in real data and discovery
We feature content that is situated in place: exploring ecosystems, engaging with the cosmos, or reflecting on social connections. We evaluate our work based on its accuracy and applicability.

Relevance (Impact) – ensuring each project broadly enhances the knowledge and well-being of its local community
We believe curiosity is a public resource. By sparking wonder and creating opportunities to participate, we help people connect with science—and with one another—in ways that endure. We don’t just design exhibits—we create civic infrastructure.
