Music Information Centre Lithuania is the main specialised sheet music and record publisher in the country. Since 1996 its main function is promotion of Lithuanian music both at home and abroad. MICL is mainly focusing on Lithuanian art music, while also covering jazz, folk, electronic and indie genres as well. MICL possesses the largest existing online database and archive of Lithuanian music at mic.lt. The website includes news and events in Lithuanian music field, music playlists and a podcast that presents Lithuanian composers to international audiences. MICL also runs an online sheet music and record shop MusicLithuania.com and provides consulting services regarding Lithuanian music repertoire on a daily basis. Under the name of Music Lithuania, for many years MICL participates in numerous music industry trade fairs such as WOMEX and Classical:NEXT. MICL is a member of the International Association of Music Information Centres (IAMIC).
