Salome Scheidegger

Salome Scheidegger is a Japan-born Swiss pianist, arranger, and composer based in the greater Zürich area, Switzerland. With experience as a Private Piano/Keyboard Teacher at Instrumentor since October 2023 and as a Performer/Pianist since 2000, Salome has focused on music from video games and Japanese anime since 2013, performing globally as a soloist and with bands and orchestras. As a Signature Artist on Musicnotes since November 2018, Salome regularly publishes piano arrangements. Additionally, Salome founded "Salome & Salichan" in 2017, creating an audiovisual experience that combines video game and anime music with an animated character. Previous roles include Music Teacher at Brainglish Baby International Preschool and Pianist/Original Member of Critical Hit Band from 2013 to 2017. Salome also developed a multimedia project titled "Envisage" to present classical music innovatively. Salome's education includes studies at Mannes College The New School for Music in New York and Ecole normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot.
