Samuel Berey

Samuel Berey has a range of experience in the education and summer program sectors. Samuel is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Summer Discovery. Prior to this, they founded and owned The DesignED Thinking School, a customizable school experience for grades K-12. Samuel was also the International Summer Program Director at Musiker Discovery Programs, where they managed luxury travel programs and trained and mentored staff. Additionally, they served as the Director of Global Innovation and Expeditionary Learning at Grandview Preparatory School, the Schoolhouse Director at Space of Mind, and an Upper School Humanities Teacher at Country Day School, Costa Rica.

Samuel Berey obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Education from New York University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2012 to 2014.
