Muskat Devine represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship. We are distinguished by our excellent advocacy, our judgment and problem-solving skills, our integration of clients’ business needs into our advice, and our attention to each company’s bottom line.

Muskat Devine defends companies against employee lawsuits, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, family leave, overtime pay, benefits denials, and breach of noncompete covenants. We provide advice regarding employee terminations, handbooks and policies, compensation, restrictions on competition and solicitation, and employment contracts. We counsel regarding labor union issues and represent companies in union arbitrations. We conduct investigations into employee complaints and other workplace issues.

Our clients represent Houston and Texas’ key industries: energy, health care, transportation, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, and building services. They range from large multinationals to Texas-centered businesses. And our mission is the same for each: to provide the best representation in the market, including through resourceful advice, powerful representation in litigation, and creative approaches to the toughest problems.
