James Bishop

James Bishop is an experienced professional in operational transformation and performance improvement, currently serving as the Associate Director and Deputy Head of the Transformation Management Practice at Mutares SE & Co. KGaA since December 2021, leading turnaround initiatives for a high-value steel operation. Previously, James worked as a Principal Consultant at PA Consulting, managing projects in operational performance across various sectors, including investment banking and facilities management. Before that, James held roles at KPMG UK focusing on supply chain operations and Industry 4.0 strategy, and at Unipart Group as an Operational Excellence/Lean Practitioner. Early career experiences include participation in a graduate scheme at Unipart Logistics and serving as a developer at Trinity Expert Systems. James's leadership skills were highlighted while serving as President of SIFE Leeds, guiding the team to significant achievements. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Leeds.
