Handeep Kaur, PhD, is a seasoned technology strategist currently leading strategic roadmap planning for Solidigm's Data Center and Client SSD products since January 2022. As a co-founder of MuteMe, Kaur was instrumental in developing the Illuminated Physical Mute Button, gaining recognition on Shark Tank Season 13. Previously, Kaur served as a strategic planner at Intel Corporation from November 2014 to December 2021, overseeing the planning of USB, PCIe, and 3D NAND technology. Additional roles at Intel included serving as a patent instructor, responsible for content development for an international class aimed at enhancing the company’s intellectual property portfolio, and as an R&D material scientist conducting in-depth analyses of wireless device failures. Kaur’s early career included a role as an R&D chemist at AMPAC Fine Chemicals, contributing to drug development for GlaxoSmithKline. Kaur holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a BA in Biochemistry from California State University-Sacramento, complemented by a Trans-Atlantic Doctoral Scholarship from the Erasmus Mundus Programme.
